Hi Everyone,

I have always come across the term HR-Journalist during my job search, but I am not very clear about its meaning. Can you please explain to me what exactly the profile of an HR-Journalist entails?

Thanks, Pushpendra Soni JBP

Dear Pushpendra,

I believe you may have misunderstood the term; there is a role known as HR Generalist, whose activities and responsibilities involve managing end-to-end HR functions. Typically, small companies with a headcount of less than 100 employees prefer an HR professional with a generalist profile to oversee both pre-recruitment and post-recruitment activities.

Hi,

To add something to the above information, an HR Generalist's profile includes all HR activities such as recruitment, training and development, performance appraisals, etc. In this role, the person is solely responsible for all HR-related activities.
