Hi,
One of my friends joined a big MNC 5 months ago, but he was only there for 2 weeks. After that, he joined another company without giving any notice or resignation. Last month, the first company sent him a legal notice to pay the notice period and the salary he received for those 2 weeks. This month, they sent another notice, but he has not collected it.
What is the correct way to respond to this notice?
Thanks,
Amit

Dear Amit,
Tell your friend to chill out and enjoy another job. No need to reply to the letter. They simply write a letter as their HR department is handled by non-professionals who do not have legal knowledge. They cannot recover any money.
Of course, your friend should have resigned.
