Dear Seniors,

My company is a mix of BPO and Software in US Healthcare. I would like to know, in the current market scenario, what would be the best parameter for increment for the current financial year from April 2009 to March 2010. Also, if someone can provide me with an increment tool, if possible.

Kindly help me as soon as possible - it is urgent.

Regards,
Amit

Hey Amit, which part of India are you situated in? It depends on the cost of living index as well. For example, someone staying in Delhi might get a 10% increase, while for Bangalore it would be 12%, and Mumbai would be 11%. However, if someone is in Bhopal or a low-lying state, the increase could be between 6% to 8%.

Please see this attachment for Merit Increase Sample. For your understanding, in India, it's called Annual Increment, and in Western countries, especially in the US and the Middle East, we refer to this as Merit Increase. I also understand that you may not be familiar with the method of distribution of funds; therefore, I have provided you with one sample. The first one is for the distribution of funds, and the second is the rate of increments.
