Dear Friends,

I am working in a KPO in Gurgaon and handling in-house payroll activities of the company. Can anyone guide me on whether the Labour Welfare Fund will be applicable to our company? It would be very helpful for me.

Thanks & Regards,

Dear :icon1:,

It's applicable to all industries/organizations in Haryana. Secondly, it is payable every quarter in a year at 15/- per employee, with the contribution amounting to 10/- from the employer and 5/- from the employee's share. The payment should be made through D.D to the Welfare Commissioner Haryana, 30 Bays Building, Sec-17 Chandigarh, along with the list of employees.

Dear Member, Whatever the employee may be receiving from the employer against their wages, if the Act is applicable, then we are required to deduct the Labour Welfare Fund Contribution from the employee's wages. The rate of employee contribution has been set at Rs. 10 per month starting from April 2012 onwards.
