Hi Smita,
Dear, this is known as the HAY method of evaluating performance. In this method, all jobs are evaluated not only by the interpretation of the factor descriptions but within the context of all other jobs in the organization. There are four factors used in job evaluation in the HAY method, and they are known as:
- Know How: skill, knowledge to perform the particular job
- Accountability: decision-making and accountability
- Problem-solving: thinking and the challenges faced in the job
- Working conditions: which include environment, physical conditions, sensory attention, and mental stress.
The HAY method drives the evaluation system based on these four factors.
Cheers!! Archna
