Dear All,

As I am working with a dealership, we require manpower for direct sales. For that, we have used advertisements, referral base, headhunting, and direct walk-ins. However, our confusion lies in the fact that we cannot invest much in advertising due to its cost, and we are unable to utilize portals as we are unable to reach a large number of candidates.

I kindly request your assistance in identifying other recruitment methods. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Devansh

Dear Devansh,

I completely agree with all the above methods of recruitment. Have you tried tying up with some of the reputed consultancies? They can also line up candidates for you.

Good luck! Have a great day!

Dear Devansh,

The methods you have used for manpower sourcing are correct, and I feel they should have attracted enough candidates. If it is not yielding the desired results, there may be an issue with how you are presenting the job vacancy. Kindly provide me with the specific requirements, and I may be able to offer assistance.

Additionally, consider reaching out to consultants who maintain a live database with actively registered candidates.

Regards,
Inayat

Dear Devansh,

I have just joined my HR team. Besides using the sourcing methods mentioned by you, we have an online e-rms portal wherein we get a number of resumes day in and day out. However, consultancies remain the major source of recruitment in our company.

Hi Devash,

Normally, recruitment works through references, job portals, and advertisements. If you are unable to access job portals, you can find profiles on Google or Yahoo using skills search. I sometimes use this method, and it can yield good profiles.

If not, please let me know exactly what you are looking for, and I can provide you with some profiles.

You can also collaborate with consultancies if you are willing to compensate them.

Guys, her basic problem is the cost as well... The methods you are suggesting all require costs, but she is looking for a solution that produces results without incurring additional expenses. In my opinion, the most effective way to access the market is to have people come to you with their requirements. How can this be achieved? Can anyone guess? Let's see who the smart champions are here, and then I will respond.

Dear Mr. Devash,

If you are not able to find the person for the direct sales, you can contact some of the institutes that offer sales and marketing courses, as well as some colleges if you need refresher candidates. Each institute has a placement cell, so by reaching out to them or the colleges, you may find some aggressive individuals for your job.

Hi,

Approach some of the consultants. You can find a few of them having a wealth of information. Furnish your job requirements, educational qualifications, salary range, etc. I am sure it will not be difficult for you to find suitable candidates.

Good luck.

With best regards,
PAVITHRAN.

Hi,

You can send an in-house message to all your working staff about the vacancy in your firm. Ask them to recommend suitable candidates. You can also post your requirements on Orkut. Both of these options are at zero cost to your firm.

Hi Devansh,

Greetings, I'm a new joiner to this citeHR. Anyway, I was working as a Recruitment & Admin Executive, whereby my major job role is to recruit the correct people for the job. These are some of the sources that I use: newspaper, jobstreet, head hunter, referral, internal promotions, government career website, etc. If you still face the same problem, then I would suggest you review the job requirements. Be more specific about the requirements. Hope this helps. All the best, friend.

Hi Devansh,

As you are working with a dealership, the dealer's network is the biggest of its kind. Just tell your requirements to the known dealers, especially those who are currently in your direct sales, and ask for reference candidates who are already part of your business network. This will be the best source. Just give it a try and see the results. An added benefit is that these types of candidates tend to last long, based on my experience, with very few turnovers.

Those who are not familiar with the job profile will send you a bundle of non-matching CVs. It's a very friendly piece of advice.

With all good wishes!

Hi Devansh,

The ways you mentioned for recruitment are right. If you need the names of any consultancies, I can provide you with some options:

1) Career Graph - Lokhandwala, Andheri (W).
2) TMI Consultancy - Juhu Tara RD, Santacruz (W).

If you require more consultancy names, please let me know.

Hi Devansh,

In our organization, we tried an employee referral program, and it had good results. Perhaps you could try this method.
