Thank you for the post. Initially, I believed that Gap Analysis referred to the gap between perceptions and expectations (similar to the SERVQUAL tool). However, I now realize it represents the gaps between the targets set and what is achieved for the various metrics used when a Balanced Scorecard type of Performance Management System is implemented.
