Hello, everyone. Can anybody tell me if there are cases of HR managers who have grown to be CEOs of companies? I'm not talking about CEOs of HR consultancies or any other manpower organizations. I tried finding this information but couldn't come up with anything, so please do share your knowledge! Cheers, Abanith

I have not come across any such case. I have been looking at this subject for the last few years. Only one exceptional case was - HR Director of a large corporation became a national coach of rugby football of a country.
At the board level, the pressure is on for performance, which means only two critical factors stand a chance:
- Marketing/Sales
- Finance.
