Hi CHR,
I never knew the demotion would take place... 😱 Anyway, interesting rankings! 😎 Hope this will make a lot of contribution to this site. What's happening to the Cite HR T-shirt and... one more suggestion, 💡 why don't you send some emails to the inactive users/those who were active earlier and are now inactive so you can remind them about the new Cite HR features, so that they can also contribute again!!

Hi CHR,
Thank you for the post. Every time I visited the site, I used to wonder who gives and, more importantly, how are ratings given. Many times, I thought of writing to you and finding it out but then used to get involved in reading or responding to some topic, and it never happened. I'm glad this information is made publicly known. It is a good means of motivating the members.
At the same time, I'm sure there are lots of members who are benefiting from the extensive knowledge sharing that takes place through this site but aren't active in posting comments and articles. I feel this is a great medium for junior as well as senior HR practitioners to keep their learning curve rising. So let's all make sincere efforts to make the most of this site. We are all hard-pressed for time, I know, but devoting a few minutes a day for learning, sharing, and enhancing our knowledge is surely a good bargain.

Swati

Hi Swati,
It was me who had a take on CiteHR ranking system in the humor section. Then a miracle happened, and the management responded with the ranking system, incorporating points. This shows the interactive nature of the site.

Hi Swati,
Thanks for your comments. Hope to bring in some more motivation in the near future through CiteHR T-shirt (which will be launched in about a month or so).
"IT WAS ME WHO... HAD A TAKE ON CITEHR RANKING SYSTEM IN HUMOUR SECTION... THEN MIRACLE HAPPENED."
Hi Vishal, it's true that you brought it back in front, but we've been working on the ranking system for a few weeks before your posts. I think the first knock on the door was by Ajmal who asked about how the ranking system works. "Thesysthink" was involved in crafting the initial ranks, and then we took it from there and fine-tuned them along with the logos. Hope everyone will like it. In the near future, I will be choosing a few candidates who will be given the right to nominate members for ranks.
Warm regards, CHR

Dear citehr,
I am very happy that this site is turning out to be a democratic one, wherein people participate. Regarding t-shirts or something, don't forget me. I am also in the queue, though I'm new, but I am here to stay. I have a suggestion - why don't we start a club, CiteHR, offline?
What do you say? 😄

Hi Ajmal,
Thank you for bringing that to my attention. The mail server had shut down, causing the website to be offline for most of last night. I only discovered the issue this morning and have since restarted it. [I hate it when that happens ]
Regarding the T-shirt, they should hopefully be available for purchase in about a month.
Warm regards,
CHR

Dear Helpful CiteHR,
Actually, I'm afraid to see the ranking system! You know why? The reason is to promote myself from a new member to a member; it'll take a long time for people like me. Does anyone know how long it'll take to become an active member or valued contributor like Vishal, Rajat, Leo, numerouno, etc.? But you know, I was not upset. Because I know these people, with the help of CiteHR, will continuously help me with my queries and needs.
Thanks and the very best of luck to you all. :)

Hi CHR,
I had almost disappeared from CiteHR for a couple of days. Meanwhile, I referred a couple of friends to it, and they were too happy to know about this wonderful place.
Now when I got back, I find this new ranking system, and you know what... it is real cool!
The all-new imagery of ranks adds some new and vibrant colors and zing to the CiteHR pages and content, a nice motivator for members to contribute.
I wish you all the very best and my continued support towards making CiteHR the homepage of every HR enthusiast!!

Hi CHR,
Thank you very much for the new rank you have assigned to me. It's an honor to receive the rank and recognition from you! After all, the rank description says:
"Members who make intelligent comments and help out other members. These members are usually experienced consultants and professionals. (appreciated by CHR)"
And I am just a 'new kid on the block'...
Thanks again!

Very true <image no longer exists> and I am really surprised to see myself standing in the <link outdated-removed> (Search On Cite | Search On Google) this morning, and feeling proud to be among the "8 CiteHR Active Members" who are honored with this rank. CHR, I appreciate your move which certainly would encourage and motivate others for contributing to this forum while promoting HR knowledge. Thank you.

I was thrilled and really humbled to open the CiteHR page this morning and see my new rank.
I usually post only when I feel I have something worthwhile to contribute, add on, respond to; or need to compliment or comment on another member's really knowledgeable and highly useful posting.
If this has earned me my new rank, I must be doing something right! Seriously, the ranking has given me a lot to live up to, and I only hope I can keep on trying to meet CiteHR's expectations! Thanks, CiteHR, and all of you out there!

Hello Rolly,
Special ranks are based on special or long-term contributions, the relationship with the network, and popularity among members for serious contributions to the knowledge base. Some of the higher ranks are also given on nomination from senior members. For example, if Rajat [Cite Knight] or Leo [Cite Supremo] nominates someone for a rank, that will be considered.
Warm regards,
CHR

Hi CHR,
This is really great. It is a kind of boost for members like us. Thank you so much.
At the same time, I just wondered why no people are willing to share their views on Representing the Indian parliament to create a lobby for the HR community. Why is this so? I think we should do this. There are forums for Finance at a higher level, but there is no forum for us to lobby on labor laws/policies, etc.
I am expecting our members to answer this.
