Dear Moderators, what is happening in CiteHR? More jokes and humor instead of replies to queries/questions? It seems that most of today's posts contain jokes. Please take action to maintain CiteHR for HR-related discussions only.

Hey Hemant,

There is just one section for humor and jokes; the rest of the sections of this forum are for knowledge sharing. Check out the Human Resource section, and you can find many new posts every day that require replies and help from all of us. It is so good to see the knowledge base of members here. I feel a little humor is also required.

Hi Hemant,

Hope you are enjoying the benefits of this community.

I don't think that you are new to this community. I too experienced the same as I could not figure out that there are various forums in this community. I agree HUMOR forum is very funny, jovial, euphoric, that defines their HUMOR LEVELS. Let them enjoy their life and you enjoy yours as we are all unique.

My aim is to enhance my knowledge base and motivate people in the right direction. This is my perception as well.

Let me show you the best part of this community. I am giving you an example of MOTIVATION and how people GOT CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER, how they responded to a single call. Maybe few had reacted out of enthusiasm, also you may find a few from the humor forum: [link to citehr article].

I AM SURE THIS WILL BENEFIT YOU MORE THAN YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND YOU WILL PRAISE THIS COMMUNITY.

GOOD LUCK.

HAPPY LEARNING.

With profound regards.

Hi Hemanth, I agree with your point! At the same time, you can find many knowledge-sharing articles that are very useful. Ignore the unwanted comments and jokes if you don't require them; that will be great!

Dear Mr. Rajender Prasad,

Please don't get too serious and spoil your health because you will start thinking negatively, and negative things will prevail in your life.

I don't possess enough experience to advise you, but I can suggest certain things:

1) FIRST, UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR REQUIREMENTS ARE... HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO EARN TO MEET YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ALONG WITH ANNUAL SAVINGS.
2) Kindly prepare a STATEMENT about your SKILLS, TALENT, ABILITIES, CAPABILITIES, QUALITIES besides your QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE that you have gained/learned.
3) Define WHAT BEST YOU CAN OFFER.
4) Study the MARKET (WHERE YOU FIT IN OR WHERE YOU CAN ADAPT TO FIT YOURSELF) and CUSTOMERS (TARGET AUDIENCE) followed by comparison (WHAT BEST YOU CAN OFFER) where you need to find out WHETHER YOU NEED TO UPGRADE YOUR SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, or MORE.
5) PLEASE DO PROMOTE YOURSELF... MARKET YOURSELF BY USING REFERENCES.

Perhaps it may take A LITTLE MORE TIME than LITTLE TIME, but don't ever LOSE HOPE IN THE ALMIGHTY and DON'T LET YOURSELF DOWN.

I am sure seniors will guide you to the right path... not to mention "THERE ARE VERY GOOD MENTORS IN THIS COMMUNITY."

Good Luck for your future.

With profound regards.

All worthwhile online forums work effectively only if discipline can be imposed to prevent people from mucking up threads or posting wrongly. Otherwise, people will not find it worthwhile to spend time on the site. It does not happen overnight but over a period. I have seen it happen to other sites as well.

Of course, I do not know whether CiteHR has permanent manpower to enforce things or how long volunteer moderators will bother, etc. I am hoping that they will be able to introduce further discipline, which is why I made the post.

By the way, just using capitals does not convince anyone that you are right or make for better reading.
