Don’t miss to read…

The train has started moving. It is packed with people of all ages, mostly with the working men and women and young college guys and gals. Near the window, seated a old man with his 30 year old son. As the train moves by, the son is overwhelmed with joy as he was thrilled with the scenery outside..

" See dad, the scenery of green trees moving away is very beautiful"

This behavior from a thirty year old son made the other people feel strange about him. Every one started murmuring something or other about this son."This guy seems to be a krack.." newly married Anup whispered to his wife.

Suddenly it started raining... Rain drops fell on the travelers through the opened window. The Thirty year old son , filled with joy " see dad, how beautiful the rain is .."

Anup's wife got irritated with the rain drops spoiling her new suit.

Anup ," cant you see its raining, you old man, if ur son is not feeling well get him soon to a mental asylum..and dont disturb public henceforth"

The old man hesitated first and then in a low tone replied " we are on the way back from hospital, my son got discharged today morning , he was a blind by birth, last week only he got his vision, these rain and nature are new to his eyes.. Please forgive us for the inconvenience caused..."

The things we see may be right from our perspective until we know the truth. But when we know the truth our reaction to that will hurt even us. So try to understand the problem better before taking a harsh action.

Good one, Peer Saab! 😄 Very true. I felt that it might be wrongly mentioned as 30 years old instead of 03 years. But after reading a few lines, the truth came forth. Nice message. Thanks for sharing.

This was an awesome story. Perception is one thing that matters, but we are being so selfish that we never try to feel the happiness of another person. Where would the world land without emotions? 😢

Beautiful message.

While reading at the start, I felt maybe the father is blind, and the son wants to show his father the beauty of nature through his eyes. But towards the end, it was something else....

Good post.

Dear All,

My personal experience on "communication" is that more than 70% of the time, we speak through our "emotions" and not "thinking." I do not mean emotions are not essential in communication, but they depend on the situation. Communication is what is in your mind, your reason, logic, etc. In my 30 years of experience, I have learned one important factor in communication: "PEHLE TOLO PHIR BOLO." It is akin to diplomatic wisdom - a "wait and watch policy." Your words may create good feelings, or they may create terror, horror, or carry wisdom for the other person. "Words, gestures" are to be used with a sincere application of mind and with the end result in mind. There is always a "purpose" in mind; otherwise, why should you communicate? Communication is a subject that is most essential in life to learn and practice. Success and failures depend on this. In Law, there is an essential element under the Law of Contract -- "when there is a duty to speak and you do not speak, then there is a legal presumption that you have accepted what the other person said." Similarly, while deposing in a court of law, your demeanor and body language are noted by the trial judge. If he records that on the file, it is considered when deciding the accuracy and truthfulness of your deposition. These principles also apply in common life situations. "Anger" is one factor that puts you completely off guard, and you might have to eat back your words if the law permits or the other person forgives you. A "stable and cool mind" always helps in better communication.
