Hi,

CTC (Cost to Company) consists of all annual components such as basic salary, HRA, LTA, PA, DA, PF, ESI (if applicable), performance pay, incentives, etc.

TH (Take Home) consists of your actual take-home pay after deductions. For example, your CTC may be 1.20 lakhs, which translates to a monthly amount of 10,000, considering deductions such as LTA (%), which are settled at the end of the financial year. Similarly, deductions for PF, savings, ESI, loans, etc., are also factored in.

If I am mistaken, please correct me.

Thanks for your reply, and sorry for not asking you the correct question. Please let me know the market rate of CTC/TH ratios for a 3-4 years experienced Software Engineer in the Embedded domain. Your reply was, "What factors are included in CTC and TH?" Yes, I know that, but my need is the current market rate of a Software Engineer. Please provide me ASAP for either Chennai or Bangalore location.
