You can appoint the person on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC). The general clauses should include his specific role and responsibilities pertaining to his skill set and your company objectives. Also, you need to give him lump-sum compensation without any breakup. Similarly, make a specific mention that no leave or other benefits available to permanent employees in the company would be applicable to him. Since this is an FTC, if the contract is not renewed and unless terminated, it shall expire on the appointed date. All these details need to be included in the contract.
