Hi,
We are in our annual appraisal process. Does anyone have data on salary bands for semiconductor/IT/telecom companies (not service providers like Hutch or Airtel)? This would be of great help if anyone has information to share with us.
Regards,
Naren

Hello Siba,
P.F. comes into the picture when your company has employed 20 people or more. For P.F., you need to get registered under the Act. You need to meet the P.F. official, and guidance will be provided by the officials there. You need to fill in the details of all the employees, i.e., Date of joining, basic salary. The P.F. will be calculated on the basic pay, i.e., 12%. The company too will contribute 12% on behalf of the employee.
You need to furnish the attendance of all the employees every month to the P.F. office. The first payment of P.F. must be done through DD drawn in favor of the Assistant Commissioner of Employee P.F.
It's an easy process, and you can do it. Good luck.
