I have a query regarding the appraisal cycle. Let's assume the appraisal cycle period is from April to March, and an employee has joined in August. Although he will be eligible for appraisals, what would be the basis for his appraisal? Would it be his probation confirmation rating or the Management By Objectives (MBO) goals for his nine months of service? I am located in New Delhi, India.
