Hi Friends,

I have a doubt in my mind that I want to share with you. I am confused about whether someone we hire on contract for a particular period of time would be eligible for PF and ESI if they are getting Rs. 2000 per month.

Please suggest to me.

Dear Mehra,

As I know, anyone earning 10,000 or less will be eligible for ESI, and PF eligibility will be based on the basic salary. If an individual's basic salary is 6,500 or less, they will be entitled to PF. However, if their basic salary exceeds 6,500, PF contributions will depend on the employer's choice.

Please clarify this doubt.

Ali

Dear Rashmi,

There is no fixed format for the said purpose. Just keep in mind that if you want to welcome your employee and also wish that each and every employee should be accompanied with you, make a write-up in MS Outlook Express pertaining to all the details of the new employee who is entering the organization, with the insertion of some flower images.

That's all. I hope it will resolve your query. Please feel free to ask if you have any.

Hi Rashmi! +1 to Bhagwan! Even I do agree with Bhagwan that if you want to welcome your employee, then make a creative write-up! You can add the following points in that write-up: Employee Name, his designation, his experience, his hobbies, his birth date, his location of joining, etc. Make it attractive by adding his photograph and images of flowers, etc. Personally, I would suggest you add his photograph in the welcome mail as well so that people will come to know who this person is; otherwise, many times it happens that you know the person by his name but you don't recognize the same person when he comes in front of you!
