Basically, the store/warehouse should register under the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act. In addition to the registration certificate under the said Act, the establishment should have available documents supporting the employment of employees, such as muster rolls, records of salary payments, leave registers, and contributions towards ESI and PF depending on the coverage, etc.
