Hi All, What should be the salary increment for an Indian employee (work-from-home job, in India) working for a US company part-time (6 hrs.) and full-time (8 hrs.) after one year, where the previous salary is $5 and $6 respectively? The job is of a technical nature, where expertise is necessary. And how much should be the compensation of an Indian Manager, working from home in India for 8 hrs. for a medium-level US company having 5 employees in total? What should be the criteria for the salary increment and salary fixation by the US company for an Indian staff for different roles, junior, middle, and senior levels. Please give your feedback. Hi, The question seems a bit strange.
Annual increments
Annual increments are based on the performance of individual employees and the company as a whole.
Factors affecting manager's salary
The salary of the manager depends on the experience range, technical expertise offered, and the availability of such candidates in the market with the necessary skill sets. It all counts. When there is a demand for a particular skill set, the salary range will be high.
Employer's responsibility
So, as an employer, you need to evaluate the performance of the individual and compensate on par with the market standard.
