Hi Sir,
I have a query regarding one of our employees who split from ESIC on Sep 22 due to an increase in the ESIC wages rate. However, he is currently still receiving medicines on his ESIC card. Could you please let me know if we can re-enroll him in the organization with the same ESIC benefits?

The benefit period corresponding to the contribution period, which ended on 30th September 2022, will last until June 2023. That is why he is receiving benefits from the ESIC.
Is the employee who became out of coverage in October 2022 still in service? What happened to his salary? Did it drop to less than Rs 21,000? Why? Whatever the reason, if his salary has been reduced, then he can be covered now, i.e., from the date on which his salary became Rs 21,000 or less. You should register him with the same ESI number only. When registering, the system will ask if he is an existing member. You can select "Yes" and provide the existing ESI number and date of joining (or rejoining); the system will take care of the rest.
