Hello, I am currently on a notice period. The notice period was issued by the employer and can be seen as a layoff. I am not working on any projects and am also not going to the office. I am getting an opportunity to work outside India, and they would want me to join rather quickly. Can I join the new foreign employer during this time? Please advise.

Hi, Though you are not going to the office and not working on any projects, it's better to wait for proper relieving from your employer. As you mentioned you have received an offer from abroad, I suggest you request early relieving from your current employer before planning for the job abroad. Your future employer abroad will likely ask you to submit a relieving cum experience letter.
