I served for 6 years and 9 months but absconded after that. The reason was due to my Background Verification (BGV): my degree was supposed to be cleared in 2009. I joined the company in 2011 with one supplementary exam. It was later passed in 2016, but the degree certificate was not received from the University. HR started inquiring in between, and I had to leave the company. Later, I received my degree.

Hi, You can withdraw or transfer your PF through your UAN login. Employers need to approve it and can't hold it for a long time. You can submit a written application for Gratuity. Employers cannot deny Gratuity on the grounds of unauthorized absence. Instead of absconding, you could have explained the situation to HR. Anyway, do not prolong the time to apply for Gratuity.

Dear Sir, Please guide me on how to apply through UAN. HR has asked me to produce my degree within 3 days, which I have never uploaded or submitted during my 6-year tenure. I could not produce it because the University has its own norms for issuing degrees/provision. Additionally, I also have doubts that they will not accept the provisional degree and may ask me to leave the job because the passing year would be 2016, even though I have been serving the organization since 2011 (having obtained the job based on graduation). Another concern is that they may not release gratuity but instead may pursue a forgery case due to insufficient degree documentation.
