If your employee take one day leave and without any information he continues it till one week. What kind of action should HR take for that employee?

Leaving without any information is serious misconduct. When an employee does not report to the office without any information, HR should take the initiative to reach out to him through his direct contact number first. If you are unable to reach him by phone, try contacting his alternate emergency number. If the employee is not reachable at both numbers, send a warning letter advising him to return to work. Provide a deadline in the letter by which the employee should report back.
