I work in a private company that provides services to offshore customers. It is located in the SEZ area of Noida. As per my company's requirements, I worked my shift hours on 15th August, which is a national holiday. However, my manager has not approved the work, and I was not compensated for the work I did. I have enough evidence to prove my work on that day. What legal options do I have to get paid for the work I did on the national holiday?

Hi, you must have signed the Attendance Register, right? If so, that will be the proof. You may raise a dispute with the Labor Officer of your jurisdiction. But please note that the employer will also defend their side, even by quoting false allegations against you, thereby potentially leading to termination of employment.
