I am an HR professional from Kolkata, working for the last 7 years in this field without any formal degree in HR. Now I want to shift my focus a bit to industrial psychology/counseling, and for that, I need to study psychology. Can anyone suggest, advise, or guide me on where I can join for this course? If any online course is available on industrial psychology or from where I can do a regular course on the same.

Dear Madhumita, you mentioned that you do not have a formal degree in HR. I assume that you are a graduate. After graduation, you can pursue a master's degree such as an MA in Psychology or an M.Sc. in Psychology. There are many other master's degree courses or post-graduate diploma courses with subjects like Psychology, Industrial Psychology, or Industrial & Organizational Psychology offered by various institutes and universities in India and abroad. Typically, you would need to dedicate at least two years to complete these programs.
While there are some short-term courses available on Industrial & Organizational Psychology offered by private individuals, they are not considered very valuable. I recommend approaching a nearby university or conducting a Google search for suitable programs.
