Dear Umakanthan Sir, HR Experts,
I was given the Confirmation Letter after 12 months instead of 6 months. I received the scanned copy of my Confirmation Letter via email, as it was during the lockdown period. Currently, I have not provided my acceptance to the HR team or my manager either through email or in writing, and they have also overlooked obtaining my acceptance.
If I resign now, will I be required to serve a 3-month notice period as per the rules for confirmed employees in the company? Alternatively, can I leave the job based on the terms and conditions of the probation period (allowing me to leave within a 15-20 days notice period)?

You need to abide by the rules in force in your company. Please refer to the separation clause mentioned in your Offer of Appointment.
Even though you have not accepted the email communication confirming your services with the company, it is deemed to have been accepted by you since you have received the email. Hence, the separation clause, upon confirmation, shall be applicable to you.

Thank you, Sir, for your proper guidance. Can I act ignorant that I am not aware of any such mail received by me about my confirmation, in order to negotiate a reduction of my notice period from 3 months to 45 days? I am considering this because once I resign, I do not want to stay for long, as my Manager has consistently demotivated me throughout my tenure. She is a demotivating person not only for me but also for employees who have been with the company for many years.

You are obligated to adhere to the terms and conditions mentioned in your confirmation letter, followed by the appointment order, as you have received the confirmation letter via email. This provides solid proof for issuing the order. Even though you did not refuse that email, it is sufficient for acceptance.
