I have doubts regarding how EL and Sick Leaves are allotted and calculated for new joiners. Can anyone explain briefly which leaves are mandatory to be given, how and when they are given, and how to keep track of them?

Hi,
For leave entitlement, you need to follow what is stipulated in the Act. If your organization falls under the purview of the Shops and Establishment Act, you need to award leaves as per the Act. If your company comes under the purview of the Factories Act, then please refer to the Factories Act.
You may keep a separate leave card for all employees, and tracking can be done through a separate Excel file.
