Hi, I work in private industries where I create computer-generated salary registers and maintain them. I would like to know if it is legal to maintain records this way or if I should create a new manual register. Please advise.

Hi Anonymous,

You need to maintain the following registers in a computerized format:
1) Muster Roll - Form 25
2) Leave With Wages - Form 15
3) Time Card - Form 25B
However, you must legally obtain an exemption from the Inspector of Factories.
