Hi, one of my friends has not received salary slips from his previous organizations, though the salary was credited to his account. Upon joining a new organization, he created a salary slip on his own and submitted it. Will this lead to any issues? Will this cause problems in the background verification (BGV) process, and if so, what actions can be taken against him?

Yes, of course, your friend will surely face issues in the BGV process if his employer did not provide him with a salary slip. In such a case, he may have requested a salary certificate at the time of his exit. Additionally, his bank statement can serve as authentication for his latest salary, if necessary. It makes one wonder what reason he will state if caught in the BGV process.

A bank statement is enough if the company has not issued salary slip. There was no need of creating salary slip.
