Hello everyone, I am a simple employee in a diamond company. I have changed companies, and I want to withdraw my PF. However, due to a mistake by the PF officer, some amount of one year's PF was credited to another person's account whom I don't know. Now, the PF officer acknowledges the error, stating it's our mistake, while the old company denies any fault. I have submitted the necessary documents multiple times as requested by the PF officer and have met with both the company officer and the PF officer, yet the issue remains unresolved.

You cannot withdraw PF due to a change in employment. For the amount wrongly credited to another employee, you will have to follow up with the local PF Officer through your respective employer. You may try to make use of the RTI facility to monitor the progress after you submit a detailed application to the local EPFO office.
