Hi All, I have started working with an MNC company for the past week. I took this opportunity based on the package offered. However, I have received another job offer from a different organization with a better profile and package. I am considering joining this company as I have always been interested in this type of role. I interviewed for this position during my notice period, but they have approached me now after I joined my current organization.
Please advise on how to resign from my current organization. I am concerned about being blacklisted in any way that could impact my future employment opportunities. Your suggestions on how to handle this situation would be greatly appreciated.
Regards, Anil

Please go through the clause of employment. In case there is no harm, it is better to resign for future progressive opportunities received by you. In a week of work, there is nothing good brought in any quarter. It is better to submit a clear resignation letter and express your thanks for the opportunity provided by the current employer and for the gratitude shown during this week. Best of luck...

Hi Anilchan, I suggest you refer to your employment offer before resigning to get a bird’s-eye view of your current conditions. Normally, your employment offer mentions the notice period to be given prior to resignation. If not, sufficient notice time must be given to avoid a breach of the agreement between you and your organization.
From an HR point of view:
The company will not blacklist you, but if you stay for short time periods in any company, this will play against you. Better stay away from such occurrences in the future. Hope this piece of information helps you.
