Hi,

We are soon shifting to the Gurgaon office from the Delhi office. Our head office is in Kolkata. We have planned to create an ESIC sub-code under Kolkata instead of having a new code of ESIC at Gurgaon. Is that a good idea? What precautions should be taken?

Thanks,
Moushumi

ESIC subcode of Gurgaon can also be taken under Kolkata code and can be paid by the Kolkata office in case the Kolkata-based company wants to get a Kolkata-based subcode. What is its utility? They can do it with their existing code itself. If the subcode is not taken in the Gurgaon region, then the subcode will not get any local office at Gurgaon, and hence the Gurgaon office staff would have to run to Kolkata always for compliance.

Hi Moushumi, Good evening. Please go to your main login - Kolkata login. Create sub-unit registration at Gurgaon. Take the prints of a few forms generated therein and submit the same to the Gurgaon local office. But you have to register all your employees in this sub-code without fail.
