Hi,
To withdraw PF from your previous company, you need to get a PF statement from the finance department. It will have the details of the PF deducted every month from your salary. You need to attach it to the actual PF form, which you can download from the PF website. I don't know the link, but if you type "Provident Fund" and your city name in Google, you will get to the website. You will have to download two forms, one is 10C or 12C, and the other is... I think 6, I forgot (sorry)... but the form will be for "withdrawal of PF by the individual." This form has to be filled and attached to the PF statement from your previous company and needs to be attested by that company's finance head. Then you need to submit it at the nearest PF office. You will get an acknowledgment receipt. 45 days from that, your money will be credited to the bank account number you specify in the form you are filling in (you will need the MICR code of the bank for that) or you can opt for a money order. You will get a letter from the PF office before the money gets credited to your account. It will have the details of how much will be credited. This is how I withdraw money from my old company.
Thank you.

Dear Megharaj,
To withdraw the PF, you can go to the nearest PF office and ask for the PF withdrawal form. The forms required are Form 10c and Form 19. For this, you need to know your PF number. Then, you can take the same forms to your old company and, with the help of your HR department, fill them out and get the forms signed by the authorized person. After that, you have to go to the PF office again and submit the form. The rest of the procedure is the same as mentioned by sis.

In case of any clarification, do get back to me.

Hi,
• I left my previous company on the 10th of July and joined the current company on the 27th of July.
• My previous company is not relieving me, nor are they providing any support in withdrawing PF money.
• My PF account in the previous company was in Gurgaon, and I have joined the present company in New Delhi.
• I do not want to transfer the PF money to the new company's PF account.
Please suggest any alternative way to withdraw PF money without involving the previous company.
Regards.

You can claim PF withdrawal after your previous organization's records are updated to reflect that you have left. Then, you can claim it through any gazetted officer, MP, bank manager, or by meeting the PRO at the Gurgaon PF office; they can assist you with your withdrawal.

My previous company has terminated around 15 people, including me. Accordingly, they provided us with a letter containing the calculation of full and final dues. It was also mentioned that those dues would be released after 15 days. We have also submitted our PF withdrawal form. However, to date, we have not received any payment. Upon inquiry, we learned that the PF was not deposited for the last two months of our service.
Currently, the company is in a state of poor financial condition, and it may be declared closed on any day. In this situation, please suggest what we should do.

I worked in a company from 1992 to 1997. During that time, my PF was deducted every month. I resigned from the company and now I work abroad. However, I am unaware of any details regarding my PF account. The company's head office is in Delhi. How can I obtain my PF details from the company?
