Dear Sir/Madam,
Please help me with my question regarding PF:
I had a PF account with my last employer and left the organization in August 2007. After that, I joined a new organization where I didn't have the PF account facility, and I also didn't withdraw my PF from my last employer.
Now, I am in the process of opening a new PF account with my current employer as they are not willing to continue my existing PF account from the previous company. How can I now withdraw my PF from my last company as it has been 3 years since I left the organization? Do I need to go back to them and place a request for this? Is there any helpline that could assist me with this matter?
Thank you.

You should approach your previous employer in this regard. The PF withdrawal form should be signed by your previous employer. They should also furnish you with Form 3A for the contributions of your last working year. You should submit a photocopy of your bank account showing details of your bank account number, address, RTGS/NEFT bank code, along with a canceled, signed cheque.
