Dear sir, I am a new member of this. I have a question pls help me out this. I joined a new company as an assistant manager so what I need to do first in the company as an assistant manager.

You should have asked this question to your superior to whom you report. Which department do you work in? When did you join your company? Before joining, your company might have promulgated the Job Description (JD) in the job ad. Was this not sufficient? Secondly, at the time of the interview, did the interviewer make it clear to you about the nature of your job? Moving forward, before acquiring the position of Assistant Manager, you must have held the position of Assistant or Executive. Did you observe the duties of your superior during that time?

As rightly said by Mr. Divekar, when applying for the opportunity, you must have gone through the job description. Also, your superior must have briefed you at the time of the interview as well as at the time of joining about the responsibilities and activities you are expected to carry out in the organization.

If you are still unclear about your job responsibilities, I suggest you go through the job description. If you do not have the job description, please get it formulated from your superior. This will help you gain clarity on the activities you are expected to perform.
