Hello Umer,

I have created an attendance sheet with time in and out. I hope this will work for you. It calculates the total working hours worked in a month. You just have to total the sum hours of in/out, and it will calculate the total automatically as I have applied a formula. I manage another sheet only for absences and half days. If you want that, I will provide it to you.

Thank you.

Hello Tahira,

Thanks for your reply. Please email me both sheets at . I hope it will meet my requirement. My requirement is to be able to count the number of hours a person has worked. Then, if they are coming late, I will get the number of lates and late hours.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Umer

Dear Tahira,

My name is Siddharth, and I work as an Executive in Admin/HR. Could you please share an Excel sheet formula with me for calculating the In-Out time of Staff and Workers based on an 8-hour workday? Additionally, I would like to know how to calculate the overtime hours for each day if they work beyond 8 hours.

Thank you and regards,

I like the attendance worksheet in which latecoming is registered, and it is used for performance evaluation later on. I think the attendance policy developed by one member may only suit low-end manufacturing firms but not for MNCs like Google, Apple, and so on where flexitime is offered.

Without much ado, a talk by one's supervisor to habitual latecomers may be sufficient, and if not, use poor performance rating as a punishment.
