Hi, sir/ma'am,
I have been working for the past 9 months in a company named "Intelenet." I haven't been going to the office for the last 2 days because I have a fever. There was a call from the Team Leader or Operations Management, and at the end of the 2 days, HR called me and informed me that I have received an absconding mail. They asked me to come to the office and sign to confirm. They also mentioned that my salary will be withheld. I am unsure of what to do. Please help me as I feel there is partiality towards me. Kindly provide me with the necessary resolutions.
My name is Md Nayeem.

Thank you.

If your reason for leave is genuine, please go and provide them with a medical certificate issued to you by a doctor. If you are not able to visit the office due to illness, please email them and formally ask for medical leave. Attach your medical bills and doctor's certificate along with it.
Since you mentioned that you have a fever, please submit a leave application along with a medical certificate, if possible. It is important to note that for a 2-day leave, an employee cannot be declared as absconding. Additionally, salary cannot be withheld on that basis.
Submit your leave request in writing and await further instructions from the company. For more information on labor laws, please visit www.labourlawhub.com.

Missing Links and Absconding Letter
There seem to be many missing links to this post. You have been absent for only 2 days, and they have sent you an absconding letter. That is surprising in itself unless the company has a policy of sending this automatically. I assume you did not bother to inform the company of your illness. I also assume that you are a senior management employee, as you mentioned operations management.
I find it surprising that a person in a senior position didn't bother to call and report being sick and that no one from the office called to ask what happened. There is more to the story than meets the eye. You have been sick for 2 days, and your salary is on hold until you return.
So what exactly is the problem? Will you join back in time, right? The salary date is next week. Or are you planning not to join?

Hi,
I am working as a training manager (L&D) in a BPO myself. But, you can always get back with a medical certificate if you are sick; it is the key. Normally, salary is never kept on hold, but you do not know. Two letters of warning might be sent to your current address asking you to report back at the earliest. However, report back at the earliest before they raise an abandon.
