I am the HR Generalist of an IT company in Gurgaon. I need to post something new on the notice board every month. Please suggest some new and attractive ways to display information on the notice board.

Looking forward to your responses!

It looks like you just want to display something new irrespective of what purpose it will serve. First, think about the message or purpose it should resolve. We have people putting up notices, thoughts for the day, sayings, motivational quotes/stories, etc. So, if it's only a question of displaying something new for the sake of it, I guess there are billions of living organisms and non-living things existing on this earth. You can put up any one picture daily.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah, I know that there are billions of things on this earth that can be displayed. Mostly, I use to put "Thought for the day" and quotes. But it doesn't suit every day as this is an IT firm, and being an HR, I have to do some innovative things in terms of the company...

More ideas, please!

You can put a notice or message regarding new innovations or upcoming projects within your organization, such as a new policy implemented or any kind of change directly linked with employees. It may be a new wage policy, ESIC-related changes, the online system for PF, the holiday list, information related to office timings or office hours, and much more.

You can display the photo of an outstanding employee of the month, include the employee's name, birthday with colors and gizmos, highlight the high performers, list the non-leave takers, share marriage day wishes with photos, present the best suggestions list, showcase an absenteeism graph, and more.

As an HR professional, utilizing a notice board is another way to showcase your activities and keep employees engaged. Below are a few things that you should consider displaying on the notice board:

- Upcoming birthdays of employees/events
- Organizational announcements
- Training calendar
- Holiday list
- Employee Engagement calendar (including dates for Townhall, business meetings, annual day, etc.)
- Do's and Don'ts (such as guidelines for restricted areas in the office, protocols for sending emails/data to outsiders/clients/vendors)
- Operational floor targets/SLAs (Service Level Agreements) if applicable
- Contact information for reaching the HR department (communication matrix)

I hope that the above suggestions will be beneficial to you.

One part of the notice board can be devoted to employees for venting their feelings, something like a 'venting machine'. A platform where anyone can voice concerns or appreciations on any topic anonymously.

Trust me, it works well. I have seen great results.

Being in the IT industry, you can incorporate some interesting facts related to technology. Whether it's strange and fascinating facts, simple and crazy puzzles, brain teasers, or useful tips spanning health, beauty, and daily life, there are many engaging options to consider. Additionally, including thank you notes, birthday wishes, fun trivia games, reminders for special days like World Health Day and Women's Day, as well as updates on new HR policies can keep employees informed and engaged.

Recognizing positive customer feedback and publicly acknowledging employees' accomplishments can boost morale within the organization. Providing handy information such as highlighting where to find great food or after-work drinks, especially for those unfamiliar with the city, can also be valuable. You may even consider incorporating Sudoku puzzles on the notice board for a mental challenge.

One important aspect to note is the need to change topics regularly to ensure ongoing employee engagement.
