Dear friends,

It is a matter of great pleasure to inform you that this is my 5,000th post. Since 4th November 2006, I have come a long way. In my uninterrupted journey on Citehr Express, I have visited many stations and met numerous fellow travelers. This travel has exposed me to newer dimensions of the HR world.

Membership of Citehr has been beneficial to me in two ways. Primarily, I have been able to offer advice to upcoming HR/Training professionals. Many HR/Training professionals work without the guidance of senior HR, and it has been a great pleasure for me to provide suggestions and advice to these members in need. While doing so, I have been straightforward but also made sure not to use these individuals as punching bags. Often, instead of offering a solution, I have posed critical questions where the answers lie.

The outcome of my membership on Citehr is that it has helped me promote my business. However, what truly gratifies me is that I have contributed more to this forum than I have received. It is disheartening to note that some service providers, especially training companies or professionals, use this forum solely for business promotion. Perhaps, hoarding pearls of wisdom secretly may define their leadership. Be that as it may!

It took me almost seven and a half years to reach 5,000 posts. If I had chosen to download content from websites and upload it here, I would have achieved this milestone much sooner. However, I did not believe in this approach. The number of posts on Citehr was not my target.

The credit for creating this forum goes to Mr. Siddhartha Roy (Sid). The driving force behind this forum's success is something I have always been curious about. This forum thrives on quality responses from senior members such as Mr. Narasimhan, Saswata Banerjee, Nathrao, Bhaskar S, Adv. Sushil Luthra, Harsh Kumar Mehta, Sateesh TS, and others. My heartfelt appreciation to them!

My 5,000 posts have given me a deep sense of fulfillment. I wish the same for all of you. As we continue to work towards improving the HR world, I hope Citehr will remain a vibrant platform indefinitely.

All the best!

Greetings. Please accept our heartiest congratulations on achieving the milestone of 5000+ posts benchmark. Your long journey since November 2006 to date, in guiding the young and aspiring HR fraternities, is truly praiseworthy.

All I can say is this Dinesh: CARRY ON DOCTOR :-)

"When you give someone 'something,' the other person gains, and you have that much less; When you give knowledge/ideas to someone, the other person gains, AND you TOO still have it with you." Not my quote but picked up from the book "How Google Works".

Congrats, Dineshji! May five thousand become ten thousand and the followers get wiser. A small correction: it is eight and a half years, not seven and a half as mentioned by you.

Regards and best wishes.

a) BOCW Act
b) Contract Labour (R&A) Act
c) Any other applicable regulations

Congratulations. It's not just determination that takes you to reach and cross such significant landmarks; it also needs "matter," "attitude," and "hands-on experience," and I have found that all these three reside in you in abundance. That means you must go on! Best wishes for future journey and contributions to the professions.

Cheers,

Congratulations, Dinesh. Sorry, I could not respond to your post due to a sudden change in our plans. I am slowly getting back to normal. It's nice of you to have named people who have also contributed and inspired you to take a very active part.

You are right; contributing what little we know does not diminish our knowledge; rather, it enhances it. When we read posts from other contributors, it increases our knowledge. Please march on to the next milestone, regardless of consultants just advertising their services without making any contribution. Please do not let that discourage you from contributing.
