Respected Members,

I am Srinivas. I need a clarification under the Gratuity Act. Under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, is there any maximum age limit for gratuity settlement? Generally, organizations fix superannuation age at 58 to 60 years. If an employee continues after reaching 60 years, is he eligible for gratuity beyond the retirement service, i.e., after 60 years?

Respected Members,

I am Ashok. I need clarification regarding the Gratuity Act. Under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, is there a maximum age limit for gratuity settlement? Generally, organizations set the superannuation age between 58 to 60 years. If an employee continues working after reaching 60 years, are they still eligible for gratuity beyond the retirement age, i.e., after 60 years?

Thank you.
