My Educational Life:

I completed my M.Sc. in Chemistry in 2006 and gained 2 years of job experience in the corporate sector. Subsequently, I pursued an MBA in CRM and HR from SCDL, Pune in 2014. Currently, I am involved in providing home and online tuitions in Chemistry, accumulating 2 years of teaching experience. I aspire to advance my career in teaching exclusively and aim to pursue a Ph.D. in Chemistry. However, family circumstances hinder my ability to pursue a regular course, as regular attendance is mandatory in most colleges.

I am contemplating undertaking a Ph.D. through correspondence from Bhoj University, Bhopal. Are there other universities that also offer correspondence courses for a Ph.D.? For a Ph.D. from Bhoj Open University, one requires a mentor to assist with research work. How can one find a mentor in Delhi for this purpose?

As far as I know, one can pursue a Ph.D. through part-time mode, but not through distance learning, as the latter also requires attendance. I wonder how one can conduct practical experiments without being physically present in a well-equipped lab. It's not a subject like management, where you can gather data through surveys using postal or internet questionnaires.
