National Holidays and Their Applicability
National holidays, like May Day if declared under a statute of your state, are applicable to the entire establishment. When the entire establishment needs to be closed on such holidays, all those working in the establishment, irrespective of whether they are workmen or managers, are entitled to the holiday.
