Recently, I observed at Kempegowda International Airport (Bengaluru) that a very big Indian National Flag was flying at 11:45 pm. I had a doubt about this, so I contacted the Police Control Room for clarification. Within 10 minutes, I received a phone call from the Police Control Room informing me that permission had been granted for the flag to fly 24 hours a day since its inauguration, and it has not been taken down. Can you please clarify if this is allowed?

I have gone through the rules, but it says to fly a flag from sunrise to sunset, and I am not sure about the special permission that was endorsed by the police department to you. Anyways, attaching the rule. Do let me know if you find anything.
