Introducing a HR Newsletter in an organization will be a major accomplishment. Though it might appear simple, we need to think of sustaining it through out which itself is a challenge. The Newsletter serves as a platform to educate employees on certain interesting things that are happening within & outside the organization. Most of the Companies opt for E Letters and are being circulated to all the employees. The E Letters are formulated in such a way that its simple and interesting to read.
The following things could be a part of the HR Newsletter:
- New Joinee's Information
- Employees who celebrate their Birthdays on that particular month
- Few interesting Anecdotes
- Rewards & Recognition Winner's photographs with small writeup
- Photos of some CSR activities
- Upcoming events, Customer Visits, product launches and recent updates abt the orgn
- Internal Competitions, displaying eees photos (winners)
People read it with lots of interest if it is colourful and presented well. To encourage or to measure the % of people who read the newsletter you can think of asking few interesting / simple questions on the articles that are displayed and suitable prizes can be given to employees for correct answers. Involve people while naming the newsletter.
