I am working for a private limited company. We work 6 days a week. This month, I took leave on the 11th and 12th, i.e., Friday and Saturday. Monday, the 14th, was a holiday on the occasion of Vijayadashami. So, I went to the office on Tuesday.

My question is, how many days of leave should be calculated? HR has marked leave for 4 days, i.e., Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I would like to know if that is correct or not.

Every company establishes leave rules, but they vary from company to company and also from state to state. When one is employed, one must have proper, accurate, and sufficient information about such rules, practices, and procedures.
If Monday was a holiday at your office, then that day should not be counted as a leave day. Only Friday and Saturday should be marked as leave days. However, if it was not a holiday, then 4 days of leave should be recorded by the HR Department. Generally, a weekly off day that falls in between a leave period is considered a leave day.
