Hi,
If your company is an establishment (not a factory), you may refer to the Bombay Shops and Commercial Establishment Act for the leave rules in your state.
Warm regards,

Dear,
It is not a private limited/public limited/partnership/proprietorship concern that decides on leaves. Whether your establishment is covered under the Factory Act or the Shop and Establishment Act of the state, the quantum of leaves is decided as per the coverage.
Thank you.

I got into an accident during duty hours (travelling from one location to the next day's working location after finishing my work). I work in a private limited company in Mumbai, and the accident took place in Tamil Nadu. The injury resulted in a fracture in my right working hand. I would like to know what kind of leave the private limited company will sanction. The company is asking me to seek leave from my account.
Could you please advise on this?

I have just joined a proprietorship firm, a real estate company, 3 months ago. I work from Tuesday to Sunday with my weekly day off being Monday, and my working hours are from 10 am to 6 pm. My boss (Owner) has informed me that there are no paid leaves, sick leaves, etc. If I take any extra leave, I will have to compensate by utilizing my weekly off. Otherwise, the leave amount will be deducted from my salary. Even if I have public holiday leave, it also needs to be adjusted within the weekly off. Unfortunately, my salary has already been deducted.
I kindly request you to send me the government rules format for employees working in a proprietorship firm so that I can clarify matters with my boss.
Regards,
