Hi Cite HR Members,
I am facing a major obstacle in terms of setting up a vertical in the L&D department. We are planning to introduce a concept called a "Knowledge Base" along the lines of Aditya Birla's Gyanodaya. The main objective is continuous learning and improvement in employee engagement activities.
How to Start Setting Up a Knowledge Base
I need your expertise on how to really start.
Initiating the Training Grid
Next is the training grid. Again, I need basic knowledge on how to initiate it.
Thanks,
Awaiting a positive response.
Regards

Thankyou for sharing about your knowledge management initiatives. Do you have a structure in mind ? What are the areas that you are planning to cover through this.

Thanks a ton for replying.
Workshop Structure and Personal Development
Our SBU has around 300 employees, so the structure will cover all team members in one knowledge-based workshop. This adds to the personal development of individuals. The end result should be that employees gain extra knowledge beyond work. The focus will be on strengthening personal capabilities to achieve more success. I hope I was able to answer your question, (Cite Contribution).
Changing Employee Perception
Venkatesh, as I mentioned earlier, we are a growing company established with the sole objective of working. When an employee wakes up in the morning, the feeling he has is "ohhhhh...again," and when he leaves, "ohhhh...one more day to go." It's imperative that either he does not enjoy his work or, besides monetary compensation, we are not doing anything. I want to change or alter that feeling of "OHHHH..." to "WOW." I know it's an unrealistic dream, but if Semco, Aviva Life Insurance, or Aditya Birla can do it, why can't we?
Please let me know.
