  • For the Safety Audit, I am providing you with the details of the Board. The EHS POLICY is required at the Main Gate. Form No. 14 should include employees' details shift-wise. Two display boards are needed as per the Supreme Court order, which I have attached. Please ensure an Evacuation Map of the Plant is included as well as Emergency Contact Numbers such as Hospital, Fire Department, Local Administration, etc.

    Thank you.

  • An additional piece of information would be to include incident details of accidents (major/minor) along with the permanent countermeasures taken to prevent their recurrence. This is also an important learning tool. Of course, one may choose to leave out the employee's name. Photographs of unsafe acts can also be displayed.

    - Abstract of Gratuity
    - Abstract of Maternity Benefit
    - Abstract of Payment of Bonus Act
    - Abstract of Contract Labour Act

  • Know the "PASS" system while using a fire extinguisher for fire safety in the workplace. Teach your workers the "PASS" as below:

    P - Pull the Pin
A - Aim at the base of the fire
    S - Squeeze the trigger
S - Sweep side to side

    Thanks,
    Santosh
