Hi, I worked in a company for 2 years and left my job in May 2011. After resignation, I filled my EPF form with all formalities, but to date, I have not received my PF amount. My form was rejected two times due to a mismatch of the employer's authorized signature, and Form No. 9 was not submitted by the employer. Please help me with how I can withdraw my PF amount.

Thank you and regards,
vk

As you mentioned that your PF withdrawal has been rejected twice due to a mismatch of the employer's signature, please meet with your previous employer and explain the reason for the rejection. Also, make sure to collect an acknowledgment copy of the authorization signatory that was submitted to the PF Office and attach it to your PF withdrawal form. Feel free to revert back for any further information.

Another way of solving the issue is to contact the PF Department (Enforcement Officer) and explain your situation. Prior to that, meet with your employer once again and inform them that you are planning to meet the concerned PF Enforcement Officer.

You should get Form 5 (Joining), Form 10 (Left), and Form 3A (Individual Contributions) from your earlier employer, along with Form 13 (Transfer). Fill them out (once you carefully go through them, you can do it easily) and send them to the concerned PF Office.

Addressing Signature Mismatch in EPF Withdrawal

If the signatures do not match with Form No. 5 already submitted by the employer, it is not the fault of the ex-employee. You should use the EPFIGMS service of the EPFO and register your complaint for harassment caused by both the employer and the EPF authorities. It is the duty of the EPFO to verify the EPF withdrawal form from the employer through its designated inspectors.

You should give it a try; I have also gone through this process and received my dues.

If the company's authorized officer's signature is mismatched or Form 9 is not available, this is not your fault. You can lodge your grievance with PFC on the EPFO website by providing your old references and requesting them to depute a PF Inspector to look into the matter. This will definitely help you. This is based on my personal experiences in many cases where the company even refused to sign the claim papers.
