I wonder how you can start your Ph.D. "without any idea." Where have you registered for the degree, and do you not have a supervisor to guide you? Have you done any literature search and read any articles available on the web? Please also answer other questions raised by me in my previous post.

I was encouraged by my family members to register for my Ph.D. I got an idea to do research in the hospital sector because I am working in a hospital. I also have a guide. I have not read any articles yet. My guide suggested that I do research in the service sector because of my profession. I also came up with an idea to do research on a quality-related topic, but I don't know what type of quality people may prefer. So, I started to search for topics related to hospital management.
