Will he sign the resignation letter given by me and give me a photocopy? Also, when will I be getting the relieving letter, and what's the difference between a relieving letter and acceptance? After submitting a resignation, companies usually issue a letter of acceptance, but it depends on the company policy. The relieving letter is given on your last day of work, and the acceptance letter is simply confirmation of your resignation, mentioning the date of relieving from the company's services.
You need to check your notice period; generally, it is 1 month.

It depends on your company's policy. Usually, your letter should be addressed to the HR Director/Manager with the initiation of your direct supervisor. Then, you will receive a letter of acceptance with a CC to the Finance and Payroll Unit indicating your last day at the company.
